Commercial Chillers

A commercial chiller provides comfort cooling by removing space heat via a water based cooling medium and a refrigeration circuit. Cold water chillers are the most efficient solution for large coomercial air conditioning applications.

Air Cooled Chillers and Water Cooled Chillers

Air cooled chillers are typically installed outdoors so as to assist the rejection of unwanted space heat to atmosphere. Alternatively, water cooled chillers are designed for indoor installation, and utilise either “Dry Coolers” or Cooling towers” for heat rejection. An easy way to remember the difference is by committing this phrase to memory – “water is in and air is out”.

Commercial Chiller Applications
